After qualifying as a Civil Engineer in 1969 in Wellington, Paul developed a career in Civil Engineering Contracting, not only representing the New Zealand Contractors Federation on various Committees, but also commencing his own practice in Civil Engineering becoming heavily involved in Arbitration and Contract Law.
From 1990 to date, under his Company - Carrus Corporation Limited - he has built up one of the largest land development operations in the Bay of Plenty, producing 200-300 lots per year and selling on average 200 lots per annum. In the past few years, he has extended his business nationwide including areas such as Rotorua, Taupo, Hamilton, Palmerston North and Wellington.

Jim is a Chartered Accountant, having previously been a Tauranga based Senior Partner in the national accounting firm KPMG. Jim is the Financial Controller for Carrus Corporation and has been with the company since it's inception in 1990. He is responsible for the full financial control of the Adams' Group of companies along with all other associated tasks in keeping all these entities running proficiently.

Di is the Administrative Manager and has been in Paul's employ since moving to Tauranga in 1988. She is responsible for the timely production and supervision of all secretarial functions and company regulatory tasks associated with each of the companies in the Adams' Group, is in charge of payroll, debtors and creditors and undertakes production of monthly financial data for the companies.
Di also co-ordinates the Sales, Marketing and Advertising for each of the developments, maintains the website and co-ordinates landscaping and reserve development in the Aotea and Silverwood subdivisions.

Kerrie is the Property Manager. She is responsible for the property management of all projects, overseeing all dwellings and properties to ensure they meet the covenants required in each subdivision in the upper North Island. She checks all house and landscaping plans that require approval throughout the Carrus group of subdivisons.
Kerrie assists in the processing of monthly financial data and also assists with the preparation of the annual financial accounts for the many Carrus entities. She is also our Health and Safety Officer, responsible for co-ordinating all policies and procedures within the company

After completing an MSc in Estate Management in London South Bank University in 2005, Scott joined the Carrus team as a Director of Carrus' commercial property investments and developments. He is responsible for the financial performance and day-to-day management of commercial assets and projects in the Carrus portfolio, including leasing, commercial loans and negotiating with Local Authorities on approving Plan changes and Resource Consents together with being responsible for sourcing and acquisition of new passive commercial investments, as well as potential future developments.
Scott has also taken on the role of Director and General Manager of Carrus Properties Tauranga Limited of which it's latest acquisition has been The Lakes - a 250ha development.

Tony has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and has been involved in the construction industry for some 30 years. His role at Carrus Corporation is Project Manager for the Bay of Plenty and Central North Island Region and is responsible for completion of projects to timeframe and budget.
He is the Past President of the New Zealand Contractors Federation and has had a business relationship with Paul Adams for over 35 years.

Kevin is an Architectural Design with a background in civil engineering and has over 30 years experience in land development within the Wellington region having worked as a designer and project manager in a partnership with a surveyor for a land developer and lately as a private consultant.
Kevin's role is Project Manager for Carrus Corporatation in the Wellington area and involves completing the various developments to a high standard on time and to budget.

Clair is based in our Aotea Sales Office with her role being primarily as a Sales Consultant for the Aotea Subdivision.
Within that role, she fields all sales and subdivision enquiries, co-ordinates all section sales, as well as administrative work and oversees the subdivision's maintenance programmes. She is also responsible for policing the protective covenants at Aotea and approving all landscaping plans for each property.
Clair has gained a wealth of knowledge from her background in business development, recruitment
and real estate. Originally from Scotland, she moved to New Zealand 17 years ago and fell in love with the diversity, the
people and opportunities New Zealand has to offer.

Melissa has joined the Carrus Team as a Sales Consultant and is based in our Silverwood Residential Estate Subdivision in Whitby.

Sandy is based in our Silverwood subdivision in Whitby as a part-time Sales Consultant.
Her role is to assist Melissa with administration, sales and help with customer inquiries.
Having lived and purchased three homes in Whitby over the past 30 years, she knows the area well and enjoys what the suburb has to offer. Sandy has come to us after working locally within the banking industry.
